Joseph A DeVita - President

Joe began his building career at an early age working side by side with his father. Joe stepped away from construction for a brief time while he attended the University of Cincinnati and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. Upon returning from college, he immediately began to serve as the President of Joseph DeVita Inc. In 1973 he incorporated the company, and a new corporate office facility was purchased at 20 Madison Avenue, Paterson, NJ, where the company still operates. Joseph DeVita Inc. maintains an excellent safety record in part to Joe's commitment to his community. Serving as an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) for 25 years in Wyckoff, NJ, safety always comes first. He is also a member of Local 4 Brick Layers & Allied Crafts Union, and currently serves as a Trustee for the Bricklayers Union. In addition, he serves as Grand Knight for the Knights of Columbus, St. Elizabeth Chapter in Wyckoff, NJ.

Anthony DeVita - Vice President

Serving as a laborer and foreman during his summer college years, son Anthony (28) has learned a great deal about his father's corporation. After receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree in Crime, Law and Justice from Penn State University in May 2003, he has joined the company on a full time basis, and currently serves as Vice President. Today his duties include purchasing materials, acting as a project manager, managing all administrative work for all projects, job costing, estimating, scheduling, and review of general expenses. In addition, he serves as President of Lafayette Hills Condo Association, and manages a 108 town home community.

Joseph DeVita Jr. - Vice President

Son Joseph (31) returned home from Germany in 2003 where he was a Captain in the United States Army. He first got a taste of the construction industry working as a laborer during his summer college years, and upon his return home, he has decided to work on a full time basis and currently serves as Vice President for Joseph DeVita Inc. Receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Villanova University in 1999, Joe has completed his Masters degree at Steven's Institute of Technology in Construction Management in 2005 while simultaneously working. He also has recently graduated from the Passaic County Police Academy, and serves as a deputy sheriff for the Passaic County Sheriff's Department.

Susan Moffa - Executive Assistant

Sue joined Joseph DeVita Inc. as a full time executive assistant in September of 2006. She manages accounts payable, insurance administration and union agreement administration. We look forward to having Sue working here for many years to come.
